 Rodolfo, also known as “Jun,” is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Philippines. In 2005, he and his family moved to Canada as Permanent Residents. Despite his Philippine CPA designation not being recognized in Canada, Rodolfo was fortunate to find work in the accounting field, taking on roles such as Field Examiner/Auditor and Chief General Accountant, among others. His dedication to professional growth led him to earn his designations in Canada – Certified Management Accountant designation in 2013 and his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2014.

In 2009, Rodolfo founded Actax-Canada (Ontario) to provide tax filing services specifically for caregivers and newcomers to Canada. Over time, the company expanded its offerings to include accounting, bookkeeping, and financial services for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. The Yonge & Steeles office opened its doors in 2012 to serve a growing clientele.

As Rodolfo worked closely with his clients, he noticed a rising demand for immigration assistance. Additionally, many clients faced challenges finding qualified caregivers for their children and senior family members. In response to these needs, Actax Canada Employment Solutions (ACES) was launched in 2015. ACES aimed to provide competent caregivers already in Canada to meet the expectations of employers. At the same time, it sought to offer caregivers and nannies overseas the chance to find meaningful employment in Canada, providing them with an opportunity to build a better future for their families.

Simultaneously, Rodolfo pursued his goal of becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). In 2018, he established Actax Canada Immigration Consultancy Services (ACICS) to support clients with their immigration needs. As the demand for immigration services grew, an office was opened in the Philippines—Actax Philippines Canada Immigration Consultancy Services Corp. (CIC Philippines)—to offer the option of direct assistance to clients from the Philippines.
